"The thing that I like most when I am not racing is sport and competition, sport is a big part of my life."

"Every day I look for competition, it's a bit like a drug for me, and it's this desire to win that gives me the motivation to train myself hard every day."

"My father was an amateur rider, it was him who introduced me to this sport when I was just a child."

"At the beginning of my career, it's my father who helped me the most. He used to take me to all the circuits, he fixed my motorcycles and many things like that."

Celebrating with my dad in 2015

"My mother has always supported me and she is really important to me because when I stress a bit, she is here to give me confidence. She is a buyer in a building company and my father is a Police Officer. I have a brother and a sister, they are twins, 11 years old. My favourite subject at school is mathematics."

Bartholomé has a clear aim: "In racing, I want to achieve a world title, it's a goal in my life. My best ever racing hero is Valentino Rossi, he is example to me."

I also like a lot Marquez, Vinales and of course I support the French riders Fabio and Johann."

He has already had success. "My best race ever was in 2018 at Magny-cours in Pre-moto3. It was my best because I won the race in the last corner."

Plenty of trophies in 2018

"2019 was a very important year for me. During the season I gained in experience. I learnt to work with a team mate, I learnt to be more focused on the race goal, and I learnt how to be professional."

"In racing, what gives me the most satisfaction is the victory like many riders I think. One thing that I also like is being on the limit, working with all the team to be the best on the track, I like challenges."

"I prefer is the small tracks with a lot of turns and elevation, I love the long fast turns, but the most important for me is to ride, no matter the track."

Motocross training

"My best race of 2020 was Aragon 2 because that was the race in which I did my best Qualifying and my best race. Besides it was the race I enjoyed the most of all the season. And my best memory was at CEV during Qualifying 2 where I set the fastest time!"

Aragón 2 - 2020

"In 2020 I learnt many things! First, I learnt to lose because it was the first time in my career that I finished in last place. At the start of the season it was really difficult and step by step I learnt to manage this bad result by staying calm and being focused on the goal."

With Johann Zarco

"I also learnt to ride with other riders. Before I was riding alone all the time. Besides that, I worked a lot on my body position which was a disaster in the start of the year and finally it's a lot better now. To finish, I learnt the importance of using the rear brake. That's why this season was for sure the most important of all my career!"

Red Bull Ring 2020

"From 2021, I expect good results. This year I was discovering everything and I struggled so much during all the season, now I know a lot more about the rookies cup, so my goal is clear and I'm ready to do my best to achieve this!"
