I had a really good weekend at Silverstone.
It was my home GP but it was my first time riding there.
I qualified in 19th position taking 2 seconds off of my time from the previous session.
Before the first race the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup team and I worked together and we were able to fix some issues I was having with my bike.
Race 1 was really good, the changes that were carried out made a massive difference and I was able to make up positions on the first couple of laps and I was then in a group of riders battling for 10th position. I really enjoyed battling with the other riders and finished in my best position yet of 10th.
Race 2 was very wet, these were my first laps on the KTM Moto3 machine. I was able to get to grips with the bike quickly and I made up 13 positions by the end of the first lap. I carried on improving and finished 4th, my best result to date in the Rookies Cup.
Looking forward to Misano.
Also, thanks to one of my sponsors - Bennetts, I recently got the chance to interview TT legend John McGuinness for this month's issue of Bike magazine.
