A lot has been happening since my last blog.
In January I was honoured to be awarded the Andy Lawson Memorial Trophy for Rising Star. Andy was a huge Scottish talent making a name for himself as an exceptional road racer, who tragically lost his life at the 2015 Ulster Grand Prix. (Main Photo)
In February I went to Bath University for a Racing Steps Foundation Fitness Camp with John McPhee and all the other RSF sponsored drivers. I really enjoyed my time there and I'm feeling really fit for the season.
I had my first pre-season test at the Calafat Circuit in Spain on the RSF backed KRP FTR KTM which I will be riding in this year's Junior World Championship. We had a very positive test.
I have also been doing some training on my KTM 150XC, some motocross and some cycling.
Last weekend I played my first gig with my band which I really enjoyed.
On Sunday I went to the Scottish Bike Show in Edinburgh where I was interviewed on stage with John McGuiness, Stuart Easton, Niall Mackenzie, Mick Grant and Leon Haslam. I had a great time there and caught up with some old friends.
Looking forward to the Jerez test,
See you soon,
