In November it was the final round of the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship at Valencia. For this round there were over 50 entries but only 44 could start. Qualifying was even more intense than usual because everybody wanted to be on the final starting grid for Sunday's two races. I qualified in 12th position.
In Race 1 two riders crashed in front of me leaving me nowhere to go, taking me out of the leading group. I finished Race 2 in 9th position. I am looking forward to competing in this Championship again next year again with the KRP team backed by Racing Steps Foundation.
Also in November was the British Motorcycle Live Show in Birmingham, this is the biggest motorcycle show in the UK. I was really excited to attend as my sponsor Bennetts had arranged for my Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup KTM RC250R to be on display on their stand!
I had a great weekend there doing lots of interviews on stage talking about my 2016 season and my 2017 plans.
Back at home along with my other training I have also been spending a lot of time mountain biking. Since the days are getting shorter we have now started riding at night too.
Last weekend I was really happy to have been invited to present the trophies to the winners of the 2016 Scottish Minimoto Championship at their Presentation Evening.
Looking forward now to my third season in the Rookies Cup in 2017, see you then!
