Lorenzo Fellon

Hello everybody,

I'm very happy to tell you my feelings about my first test with the RedBull MotoGP Rookies Cup, and this blog will be a summary of it.

The first day in Jerez was really busy with all the media duties and the meeting of the Red Bull Rookies Cup staff and especially my mechanic for the whole season. We had a great feeling and I can't wait to work with him again.
We also receive our equipments from the partners of the Cup, that are Alpinestars and Schubert, it was an honour to wear the colours of the Rookies Cup for the first time.

Finally, the moment that we all have been waiting for has arrived: the first touch with the bike when we've adapted the bike to my style and position.

During these days of testing, I had a really good feeling on the dry and also on the wet. On the dry, I had a lot of fun with bike and I made quite good lap times for my first time on this bike. We've had some issues with the setting of the bike when I started to have a great rhythm and fast lap times. Unfortunately, we couldn't test our modifications due to the rain.

The last day on the rain was really positive. I was immediately feeling good on the bike and I had a lot of confidence. The KTM was really good on the wet condition. It was good to ride also on the rain to test the bike on all the conditions to prepare the season.

Overall, it was a really positive test. We've managed to find the solutions to our problems to go even faster. I'm really confident for the season and we can do some good results through the year.

I want to say thank you to all the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup's staff and all of my partners to give me this opportunity.

See you soon for an other blog!
