In FP1 I rode really well and developed a lot off confidence for the bike. In the second practise session it started to rain, which was a first for me. I got a good rhythm and improved my lap time step by step. I was in 15th position but then crashed with a few minutes to go.
During qualifying it was still wet conditions. I focused on not to crash and qualified in 21st position. I am very happy with this result and can only hope to improve for a better result in today's race.
Good luck to my younger brother Rohan, racing in South Africa in the 150 Cup today.
On Sunday we can sit back, relax and enjoy MotoGP.
