Hey! What's up guys?
I'm back from the Austrian GP and I'm going to tell you how my Austrian days went.
FP1/FP2: P3
I used the FP1 to learn the Red Bull Ring Circuit, as it was brand new for me. In the FP2 I could make a big step ahead with many improvements with the setting and acquiring knowledge of the circuit lap by lap with the key of being riding alone to reach a good pace for the race.
QP: P5
I got a good position for the race. It was a tight qualifying but I could develop my strategy for the QP that allowed me to be in the second row of the grid.
Race 1: DNF
I could improve the setting of the bike and I felt very comfortable during the whole race.
I was saving my tyres for the end of the race because there were many overtakes in a kind of crazy race.
With two laps to go, when I was in the P3, the chain of my bike came off. That's why I couldn't finish the race. Bad luck.
Race 2: P16
I'm very happy for this day in spite of the result wasn't the wanted.
From the first lap I gave everything I had and I led the race during some laps, staying inside the P4 during the whole race.
I had awesome feelings with the bike. The pity was that in the last lap I suffered two impacts that made me go to the final P16.
After these two races I have learned a lot knowing a new circuit as the Red Bull Ring. I could perform two good races without reaching good results but this prepared me for the upcoming races where I will be highly motivated.
Now it's time to refuel my body and my mind for Misano.
See you in a few weeks!
