Hey buddies! How you doin?
Let's talk about the second weekend in Motorland.
During the FP's I tried to get a good setting for the bike. We achieved it and thanks to that in the QP I could reach the second row for both races. The key was the step ahead we made and that gave me more options to fight in the front group in both races.
Race 1: It was a crazy race that I enjoyed a lot. I felt really strong on the bike. It's awesome to have the opportunity to fight hand to hand with many good riders. I'm sure some of them will be at the Moto3 World Championship the next year or the following year so this helps me to grow as a rider, both mentally and physically.
Race 2: the feeling was great during the whole race. I did a lot of overtakings and I felt in a really good shape to fight for the win.
Unfortunately in the final lap I was overtaked by some riders in the long straight so I was relegated to the P8. I couldn't put my strategy on the table but that happens, that's racing!
Despite de results it was a really good weekend because I kept learning and I could enjoy riding my bike!
Thanks to all the Red Bull Rookies Team and to all the supporters! Talk to you soon!
