Hello everyone,
It's been a busy but fun few weeks. Here's what I've been up to:
It was a difficult race weekend at round 5 of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup! I really enjoyed the Austrian venue but I was unfortunate to have some bad luck!
Race 1 I had some bad luck which caused me not to finish the race. Race 2 I got away with the leaders which is what I was hoping for, but unfortunately I couldn't stop at turn 3. I hit another rider and we both didn't finish, I apologise to all the staff at the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup for mistake!
When I got home from Austria I had some good news, I passed both my Business and Design and Technology A levels. I worked hard to insure I passed so it's a relief to have passed!
The following weekend from Austria was Cadwell Park with the British Super Bikes. Once again I was there helping my younger brother Osian Jones. With him only just being old enough to ride, he has plenty of time to learn!

After Cadwell we headed to the British Talent Cup selection event, which was held on the Wednesday of the MotoGP at the Stowe Circuit. Osian did a great job and ended up being chosen as a possible candidate for the 2019 British Talent Cup!

I spent the rest of the weekend learning from the guys in the paddock. It was a shame the race was cancelled but nevertheless a great weekend! I'd also like to thank one of the official partners of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, Alpinestars for taking away my last years leathers for repair.

To finish off an eventful few weeks, me and my brother went to One Planet Adventure Park. It's a really physical cycling trail, but with a few down hills where you can have some fun!
Next up is the penultimate round of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at Misano,
See you all soon,
Dan
