Hi everyone,
I can say that I'm very satisfied with all races in the first 2 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup weekends in Austria.
In all races I collected points.
The last weekend I started FP1 to get the feeling and rhythm back.
In FP2 pushed more, also to get information for a good or better setting for the Qualifying.
When the Qualifying started I had a good feeling with the bike but it wasn't easy to achieve fast laps. Anyway, I tried to keep my focus on a good lap.
With 5 minutes to go I could manage a few much better laps than before and it brought me the 7th position on the grid.
Race 1 was difficult, I had a good start but for some reason couldn't find the right rhythm. I managed to stay calm and finished 10th. Not bad at all but I felt I could do better.
For Race 2 I decided for another strategy and it worked much better for me.

I could stay with the front and the feeling with the bike was very good.
I decided to wait for the last laps but unfortunately – just as I wanted to push – I got a track limit warning and had to be careful for these last laps.....
Finally I finished in 7th place just 0,7 sec from the winner. I gave me a good feeling and additional motivation to improve more and work hard for the next stop at Aragon.

Thanks a lot to the whole crew of Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
Before Aragon (mid-October) I have another race in the Hawkers European Talent Cup with the Cardoso Racing Team. Actually it's already coming weekend in Jerez so the travelling continues immediately.
Stay safe,
Collin
