Away from racing enjoys playing soccer and working out at the gym, at school he enjoys metal technology but he is a racer at heart and a long term fan so his two heroes, Scott Russell and Valentino Rossi come from different eras. "My sister and I got a pocket bike, she was 8 and I was only 4 but from the first day I was riding it. I want to continue to enjoy my racing and progress through the Rookies Cup to Grand Prix racing."
In 2012 I learnt how to make a great start, better like other riders. And be smart and go for the points. In 2013 I want to finish in the top 3 and I want to ride in 2014 Moto3 World Championship.
I also competed in the Dutch Championship Moto3/125. It was a difficult year for me because I rode a standard KTM RC125, the top 5 rides all used the Honda 250. I missed the first race because I had a race in Jerez with the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. I had 3 podiums, at Hengelo, Oschersleben and with the BSB at Assen I finish 3rd. I had a hard fight with Kyle Ryde and some Dutch riders and I finish 3rd, with a new PR.
I also had a ride in the European Championship race at Albacete for team Stylobike on a Honda FTR250. The first sessions on the 250 ccm were hard but step by step I got faster.
I rode a good race and finished 15th, I was happy with this result because it was my first time on a 250 4-stroke.
