"This is going to be a great experience, a lot of new things, new bike, new track and many fast riders. It is such a competitive championship, the best riders from all over the World, I know that it will be very hard and a great way to learn and improve my riding."
"I have been working very hard through the off-season to get ready for this year because I knew it would not be easy. I have been doing a lot of motocross and trials riding, in fact every week I do one day on the trials bike, two on the motocrosser and one on the road racer. I have been using a 125 Honda road racer, not such a big difference to the KTM."
"Riding on the Grand Prix tracks will be a bit different I am sure and they are all new to me apart from Jerez. I know that I have to work on a lot of things, particularly fast corners on the GP tracks, I am going to enjoy that and I am really looking forward to Mugello and the fast sweeping corners there."
"Of course I watch the GP stars and watch the way they ride, if I see something that looks good I try it out but otherwise I have my own style. I don't really have any heroes in the GP riders now... for me the greatest rider is Kevin Schwantz."
