"I've had pushbikes and motorbikes for as long as I can remember."
2010 1st Bike
"I had a Yamaha PW50 aged 3 and an Oset 12.5 at 5."
"When I was 6 my cousin James started Minimoto racing and we went to watch him at one of our local tracks Whilton Mill in Daventry."
2014 1st Race
"From then my Dad and I were obsessed and set our focus on finding me a race bike and starting me racing. Just before my 7th person I competed in my 1st race on my 1st bike, the Blata B1 Rep, we still have it in the loft. That is when the bug started with me, since that day all I have wanted to do is race motorbikes."
"My family have played a pinnacle part in my career. My Dad and my Granddad Andrew have been to every race since beginning. My Dad to set-up and repair any damage (sorry Dad) and my Pops to drive the motorhome."
"To go racing really has to be a family effort, Grandparents, Cousins and Friends all help as it takes so much time and commitment. I cannot thank them all enough for all the support they have shown me over the years, I definitely wouldn't be where I am today without their help and support."
My Father Seb O'Shea works for Breedon Group a nationwide Quarrying and Aggregates Services company as an Area Readmix Concrete Production Manager in the Midlands area. My Mother Bayley O'Shea works for a local building company Davidson Homes as a Customer Services Advisor. I have 1 sister Tillie O'Shea, she is 18."
"I enjoy going to the Gym, I'm in there at least 5-6 days a week training for between 1 and 3 hours per day. I enjoy Mountain Biking with friends in the local woods, Cannock Chase and Sherwood Pines. It also goes without saying that I just love riding motorbikes, literally any and all motorbikes. Every opportunity I get I really enjoy taking my CW Minipit 140 to local karting tracks to try out new things."
2019 British Talent Cup
"I really enjoy school and my favourite lessons are PE & Maths."
2019 British Talent Cup
"In my 2020 season I learnt how to race a Honda NSF250R, how to control races, lead races and control pressure. I learnt how to deal with disappointments having lost out on race wins due to Red Flags but I also learnt the importance of finishing every session especially races and learning every lap."
2020 BSB R1 Donington Park
"I think that my best race so far was Snetterton Race 2 in 2020 – a 5 way battle to the last corner of the last lap, always switching positions. Final corner, final lap and a rider crashed causing a red flag just before I passed the line in first. The race went back a lap taking my win but not my enjoyment of the great race with some great racers."
"I love long fast left hand corners and tracks such as Valencia but I also really enjoy fast left hairpins. A favourite corner is Jerez turn 4 the way you roll off slightly with a late apex then on the gas setting yourself up for turn 5, I just love it."
"First and foremost I love to race motorbikes and challenging for the win. Over the last couple of years I have really started to enjoy understanding the bike and working with my Dad and the team at BTC to setup the bikes making them easier to ride faster. It's very satisfying when you take a difficult situation and suggest changes that make the difference for the better."
"My heroes are Jack Miller, Valentino Rossi and Mark Marquez."
"My aim in 2021 is to learn and love the Rookies Cup bike and start fighting for podiums. I have also been fortunate enough to be selected to compete in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship for the Junior Talent Team."
"My ambition is quite simple. I want to be a MotoGP World Champion and I plan to enjoy my journey every step of the way."
