Rider bio
His heroes are Valentino and Marc Marquez but it all began many years ago as he explains. "It started when I was 4. My Mum took me to watch a minimoto race at our local track in Lydd. Then I got a minimoto that Christmas and started racing when I was 6."
Neither of my parents or family have raced but have always been bike nuts. My Mum and Dad (Tracey & Kevin) and my brother Daniel, they all work long hours to get to earn the money so I can race. Dad used to do all my mechanical work right from the start then when I raced at BSB in my first year Dan used to do all my data and help Dad with the spanners. Another person who has helped a lot is Roger Keys.
When he is not riding his race bikes he enjoys Cycling/BMX and riding any motorcycle possible but it all focuses on his racing aspirations. "I want become Moto GP World Champion." He is certainly committed and works very hard. "I enjoy working with the team to get the best out of the bike and myself and I enjoy technically testing tracks where bike set up makes a big difference."
He has no doubt about his favourite race to date. "It has to be Austin Texas first ever motor bike race there and first race for the Rookies on the KTM Moto3 and my first win at the Rookies, everything just went as planned and an amazing feeling to have a 10 second lead."
Winning is something he hopes to be doing a lot more of in 2014. "I am going to try my hardest to win the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and finish in the top 5 at CEV. I Just have to say a massive thank you to all at the Red Bull Rookies Cup for giving me 2 brilliant years and a 3rd one coming up - Full Gas!"
