Hi Everyone,
My weekend started rough – I had a big higsider in FP1, the third lap out, and as I got up from that I knew I had a problem, I couldn't put any pressure on my foot.... Thankfully there wasn't any major damage and the Medical Centre gave me their OK to ride. I was happy with that news!
With their help, Roma's help, my Dad's support and everyone that was there for me I was able to ride.
I wasn't too happy about my qualifying but after missing FP1 and everything else it was the best I could do.
I finished P12 in the race! Points again and looking at the track time I missed and not being 100% fit (I so was not – had picked up a major cold on our way to Misano too ;-( ) then it was a really good result. I made a small mistake at the end of the race but thankfully corrected that just in time!
Lap time wise etcetera I did race a good race, just not too happy with the end result. But I raced - something I feared for just after my crash....
In Misano we only have a Saturday race so we flew home Sunday and I took time to rest, in between doctors visits as we wanted some people to check my foot and help me get better asap. Well, that helped because leaving for Aragon I walked much better.
And my cold has gone – thanks to my mum and her magic! Now? In Aragon ready fo the last races of the season, like always full gasssss!!!
