Last week we had our pre-season test in Jerez and it went very well. Directly from Barcelona, where I had a private test with Dutch Racing Team on Monday, I went to Jerez. It was nice to see everybody again after a long winter.
On Thursday we had many photoshoots, making video's and other promotional activities. It's not my favourite thing to do but it was okay.
On Friday we could finally start riding the KTM. After my first year, riding with no. 37, this year I can ride with my own number 13 and I'm happy with it. Friday went very well and I was able to improve the bike. At the end of the day I ended up third. On Saturday we had a race simulation. I'm also satisfied with that race where I finished in fourth.
Unfortunately there was a lot of rain and wind on Sunday and Monday. On Monday morning I rode a few laps but due the weather conditions I decided to don't take any more risks.
I'm satisfied with the test and I'm looking forward to the first race.
Wednesday we leave to Valencia for the first race in the Moto3 Junior World Championship and from there on we go to Jerez. Viva España!
