Blog | Tyler Scott had a good Sachsenring and lousy luck after

Hello Everyone,

Round 4 in Sachsenring Germany went well. The track had a lot of elevation change and was very fast and technical.

In P1 and P2 I was learning the track and the lines but by QP1 I was closer to the front pace than I have been all year.

In the first race I was running good and there was a red flag and the race was ended 5 laps early. The next day I had some problems with the bike and the traction so I was off the pace the second day.

I also got to explore a little of the town and countryside. I thought the Autobahn was cool because there is no speed limit and we could get to the racetrack quickly.

The next weekend we went to Aragon for the CEV race. In FP1 and FP2 I was close to the ETC race pace. In QP1 on lap 4 I set down a fast lap time and I qualified for the ETC race. On the 5th lap I tucked the front and crashed. When I got up I realised that the top of my finger got ground off and the bone was broken. I was taken to Dr.Mir and he performed surgery that Monday.

Unfortunately, I will miss the next race in Speilberg, Austria but my stitches and pin are going to be removed very soon and I will be able to ride again.

See you in Misano,

Tyler Scott
