Blog | Tarran robbed on the line in Donington BSB 'Rookies' clash

Hi everyone,

Last weekend was the 9th round of the Moto3 British Championship!

On Friday there was heavy rain so I didn't do many laps as there wasn't much to learn or gain!

On Saturday the weather turned around and I had 2 qualifying sessions. Overall I ended up 4th which I was fairly happy with as the times were close.

Sunday was race day and again the weather was really nice! I got a good start and I was second into the first corner. With 7 laps to go I passed Jordan Weaving for 2nd place and set a new lap record!

On the last lap I slipstreamed him down the back straight and then he passed me back into the chicane but got he the wrong way of a back marker which meant I passed him back again and then he out braked himself and ran us both wide in to the hairpin.

So it went down to the last corner where he clipped me going into it but I managed to out brake him. Then there was a back marker in the way so I had to let off the brakes and ran wide and then Jordan got me to the line!

It was a such a fun race and now I really excited for Misano!

See you there,
