After only a short 4 day break before the first session on Friday, it wasn't a matter of learning the track and bike but to try new things and fix certain aspects to improve my lap time and race time from the week before.

On Friday, I worked hard to find a good set up with the suspension but also to find the right gearing to be able to battle in the race. My qualifying result wasn't ideal with 14th place but I felt I had a really good feeling with my bike.

On Saturday, for Race 1, I was determined to move forward and have some good battles. At the beginning of the race I was in a strong position moving forward 2 places from my qualifying position. The pace was very quick and I did a lap time 1.3 seconds faster than qualifying. However, trying to hold on to the leading group I made a few mistakes while battling at the back of the train of riders. This left me in a lonely 12th place. In the end I crossed the line 9 seconds behind the leader, but I was nearly 10 seconds faster than the previous race last weekend.

The 2nd race was a completely different race for me. Unfortunately on the opening lap I made a big mistake losing the rear end going onto the back straight, smashing the front fairing in a near high side and had to run off track.

This meant I crossed the line on the first lap in 23rd position. Throughout the race I made many overtakes and got to the front of the second group. I pushed hard as I could see a couple riders in front detached front the leading group. Approaching the last lap I managed to catch the riders and had a great last lap battle eventually crossing the line in 13th place however after a penalty to another rider I ended up in 12th position.

I would like to say thank you to my mechanic Rene, suspension technician Aitor, Rider coach Dani and all the other Red Bull MotoGP Rookies cup staff that make this possible.
