I am going to tell you how was my weekend in Assen! I hope you like it!
Upon arrival I was surprised how quiet and beauty that was where we slept, the truth is that I loved the Netherlands. From the beginning you could see many people in the circuit and a great atmosphere.
The first day was the free practice and the qualifying session. In the first free practice I attempt to adapt quickly to the track but it was difficult because the circuit was not easy, in the following free my feeling with the bike and the circuit improved but the times were not good and I just got finish in eleventh position
The second day was the first race, I knew that I could improve because in reviewing old races at the hotel I could find tricks to improve. My start was bad and I lost three places but from the second laps I came across with a great rhythm and I started the comeback to seventh.
I ran away from my group and I began to push hard to reach Marc Garcia and Ayumu Sasaki, I overtook Sasaki and later Garcia but I made a mistake in the penultimate lap and I went long and I finished in seventh place
The third day was the second race, this time I made a good start and quickly I wanted to overtake riders to be in the leading group, in one of those overtaking I went long and I fell ... I got get up and start the engine thanks to the Marshall, I continue the race but lost a lot of time in the fall so I could finish only 17th ...
It's been a good weekend where I met new people and learned a lot of things that can be useful for the next race at Sachsenring, I hope that we can see there!
