Last week was the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup pre-season test at Jerez. It was a really good test for me and I also enjoyed seeing all of my friends and the Rookies Cup staff again.
The first day we were running in the bikes in the first few sessions and this let me re adjust to riding the Rookies Cup KTM Moto3. I was happy that the Rookies Cup mechanical staff and I were able to find a setting for the bike quickly which meant I was able to set good lap times on my own.
The second day I was able to continue finding a good setup with the help of the Rookies Cup staff, unfortunately I had a crash in the afternoon and another rider hit my bike meaning that we had to rebuild the bike quickly for the race simulation. I struggled to get to the lap times I had set earlier on my own as the bike did not feel the same as before.
The third and final day was very wet, I felt good with the bike but unfortunately the second session was cut short due to another rider crashing.
Looking forward to the first round, see you all at Jerez!
