At the end of January I was invited to the Royal Automobile Club's Torrens Trophy presentation in London. This year the award was given to Cal Crutchlow for being the first British rider to win a premier class World Championship Motorcycle Grand Prix in 35 years. The Trophy has only been awarded nine times in its history and only when the Club feels that the achievement justifies it.
I got the chance last month to race a minimoto for the first time in nearly 5 years, in the Scottish Minimoto endurance race. It was really fun riding a minimoto again!
For some extra training I have also been riding motocross. I've really enjoyed having the help of Stuart Flockart from Flockart MX to help me improve on my skills in another discipline of riding. Stuart has ranked 4th in World MXGP.
I am just back from fitness testing at the Porsche Human Performance Centre at Silverstone with my fellow Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and new Racing Steps Foundation team mate, Dan Jones.
See you all soon!
