Blog | Raúl Fernández having great rides in the CEV

Hello to all,

So, what's going on? Since I began the school, I am very busy, striving to maximum as in my preparation for bikes.

After the last race in Motorland (Aragón) I suggested to my father that we should participate in both remaining events in the CEV Respol, the best way to train.

So the first race was in Jerez, with the media which we were showing quite well, on Friday practice we shot everything possible to try to adjust the bike at the new experience.

On Friday in the first QP the thing went worse, came 20th, and the second QP, I improved times and the top speed of the bike, despite the rain it was much faster and gave me the opportunity to get 10th.

The Sunday I started both from 20th, fought hard and improved positions and we got in the first race the P9 and the second P10.

In the last weekend I participate in Cheste (Valencia), it was another challenger because changing equipment, also change the structure on the bike, so on Friday and the Saturday we had to adjust my driving and it also.

On Sunday after the time sheets of Saturday my position was P12. In the second round of the first race I fell when another rider clipped me. With the help of a photographer I got out again but then the red flag was brought out by another rider. So I thought I had another chance but as we had to change pieces on my bike I was forced to start last. In the last nine laps I got up to 6th so was very pleased.

In the second race started out again in P12, I was again almost the whole race the 6th, but I slowed because I saw ahead a yellow flag and I finished 8th and I was happy with this result.

It was all very intense and exciting, and now besides studies, I went to prepare for the rest of this year for 2016, to be better despite how happy I finished this season.

Much Gasssss,

Raul#23.
