Blog | Patrik Pulkkinen having a good end to the season in Aragon and Silverstone

Hi Everyone,

My weekend in Aragon was very good! I like the track and I had a good setup with the bike.

First free practises was very good and i had good feeling to push. I learnt a lot behind faster riders and everything went well.

In qualification I tried to find faster riders to get better lap times behind them but I didn't find anybody to follow so I made everything alone and I finished 17th.

In the first race I made bad start and lost positions at the beginning of the race. After one lap I overtook a group and start pushing. On that lap a big group crash happened and the race was red flagged.

At the second start I made good start and improved my positions and finished 10th.

For the second race I made good start and I was behind a very fast group for about 5-6 laps but I went wide and they got a little gap on me. They were a little bit too fast for me and they got totally away.

At the end of the race I drove alone but I caught one rider on the last lap and overtook him and finished 14th.

Im happy That I will stay one more year in this Cup and I want to thank you so much for this year and for next year!

I was also at the KTM RC 390 World Final at Silverstone.

In qualification I had a pole position by 0,4s. In the first race I finished 6th. The second race I led the race by 0,5s on the second to last lap but they caught me on one straight and 7 riders passed me in one straight. I finished the race 9th. After all I was 4th in the championship.

In both races the leading group had over 15 riders so it was only about the right timing on a correct point.

See you next year guys!
