I am having a very good summer break in Australia. I have been doing lots of training and having fun, it is getting nice and warm here now so good weather to train in. It is School holidays in Australia so I have been working at my Dad's crash repair shop to learn some new skills and earn some money.
I have also had the opportunity to have a training camp at the Australian Institute of Sport for five days. This was really good because I got to train really hard for those day and learn lots about training, nutrition, hydration and lots of other important parts of training. I also spend some time there with Troy Bayliss which was great as he had lots of tips for me to help with my racing & mental preparation.
When I came back from Canberra I attended another training camp for the State here in South Australia, this was also good as we had a lot of valuable sessions in training, nutrition, physiology, etc., so after these two camps I am feeling very strong and confident for next season.
I have been doing a lot of practicing on my motocross bike with my two brothers and going up to our local river and riding jet-skis. I am also having car driving lessons too so that I can pass my practical test when I turn 17 in January.
It is nearly Christmas time so here is wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year and I am looking forward to 2015 and the new Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup season.
