Good evening everybody,

How are you doing? As I promised, I will tell you how the race went.

Before the race I was talking again with some mechanics and specially with Dani I was going through the track again on the map. We were talking about some kind of thing about the track where I can improve. After I also did go through it once again by myself.

After I did a warm up and then I put on the suit and sit on my chair for cool down a bit. After we went to the box. When we were getting out, I did two sighting laps to check everything and to look at the track conditions. At the grid I was full concentrate and focus for the start. The lights turned off and I had a fantastic start. I could overtake quite a lot of riders. In the 4th corner I nearly had a contact and I had to brake and I fell to the last position. In the first 3 laps I was fighting with one rider, but then I couldn't follow the pace and I rode alone until the finish. In the front group there were some crashes and I benefit. But I am happy that every rider is OK. In the end I was at 19th position.

It was not my best weekend and I am also not so happy with my performance. But the good thing is I know where I lost time and what I need to improve. It is great to have people like Gustl with us, we can learn really much from them. They give you tips and tell you important things where you can improve.

I am looking forward now to the next race in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in Assen (Netherlands) in a few weeks. A big big thank you to everybody from the Rookies Cup for always this great work. And also to my family.
