Misano was a tough round for me. I had a good practice getting a good bike set-up.
Qualifying was really strange because I was in a big group and it felt like a race! There was lots of overtaking and it was really fun. I qualified in 8th which was OK but I want to be further up the field.
At the start of the race I lost contact with the front group so I had to work really hard to catch up. Whilst I was catching the group I was pushing too hard and ran off the track a few times so when I finally caught the group, I was penalised with a long lap penalty. I was really angry with myself because I know I had potential to work through the front group and have a good result.
So I'm really looking forward to the final round of 2019 in Aragón where I got the fastest lap of the race last year and is one of my favourite circuits!
See you there,
