April has been a brilliant month as its been full of racing and riding bikes.
In the beginning of the month I went to Jerez for the Red Bull Rookies Test. I had been looking forward to the test for a long time and was excited to start learning the new KTM Moto3 and getting to know the team. All I can say is the experience was amazing.
The bikes were great to ride, the team is professional and supportive and it felt great to be part of it. After riding the KTM for 3 days, I feel confident for the 1st round at Jerez at the beginning of May.
In the middle of April I was invited to race at the 2nd round of the British Superbike Moto3 Championship with my old team, Wilson Racing. They allowed me to ride their spare bike at Brand Hatch Circuit and it was great to be part of their team again riding with my close friends at a circuit I really like. The weekend was great as I came away with two 2nd places and I had some great battles.
Finally, last weekend I competed in The Cool-FAB Junior British Championship on my Supermoto. I race here for fun and it helps me stay bike fit, but I also enjoy helping my little brother who races minimoto and Metrakit50 bikes at these races. It was a great weekend as my little brother got his 1st podium of the year on his Minimoto and I won all my races.
It been a good month and I feel ready for the 1st round of Red Bull Rookies at the beginning of May at Jerez.
