Blog | Mario Aji recovers to race in Aragón

Hello everybody!

Hope you're having a good time and healthy.

Was a tough beginning of the season for me.

And I had injured in my left hand last month Junior World Championship in Jerez when qualifying began. 3 cracks of my metacarpal bones. I missed the test on Estoril and 3 rounds in the Junior World Championship it means 5 important races.

So my first race in Junior World Championship was last week in Aragon.

Last week races with not full recovery. I crashed in Qualifying after just a few laps.

I scored my first point on the last race. I could finish 12th from 26th on the grid with a big swelling on my hand. That because the adrenaline and team spirit are amazing.

I'm pretty happy with that.

My confidence is getting back after the race.

And that the positive points for me.

During the week I'm focused to recover my hands and doing some physiotherapy to be ready for this weekend and already thinking about the strategy from now.

And this week I'm back racing with KTM on same track Aragon! Try to find back the rhythm and good feelings on the KTM bike. I'm looking forward and try to enjoy the weekend with KTM!

Thank you!
