Blog | Luca Lunetta making up for his starts in Valencia 1

Hello guys!

The European GP, held at Ricardo Tormo's Circuit in Valencia, was raced with weather conditions that changed at every session and for this reason it was not easy to get the right feeling with my KTM RC 250 R over the entire weekend.

However, despite free practice on a wet track, I was able to find a good set-up by finishing FP1 in P16 and FP2 in P8, managing to adapt to the best in such conditions.

In the QP, took placed in opposite conditions, with an almost completely dry track, I placed myself in P16, never managing to take advantage of a perfect lap with some slipstream!

In both races, unfortunately, I got the wrong start, finding myself in the first corners always in the back group.
In Race 1, with conditions similar to QP, I finished in P12, an excellent result despite having to serve a long lap penalty in which I lost those 3 seconds that separated me from the top 10.

In Race 2, on the other hand, with track conditions being dry for the first time, I managed to finish in P15 fighting until the last lap for better positions.

Overall it was a good weekend for me, where I learned a lot of new things, and above all race after race I am gaining more and more confidence and feeling with the bike.
