Croft last weekend was the 3rd round of the BSB championship and after my great result at Oulton Park I was really looking forward to it.
Free practice 1
Conditions weren't ideal, with the rain falling on and off but I still managed the 2nd fastest time.
Free practice 2
The weather was good and I went quickest.
Qualifying day was dry and in Q1 I went quicker than FP2 with the best lap I'd ever done round there, and ended me up in P2 with 2 tenths behind Rob in 1st. Q2 we changed a few things on the bike that paid off with a time that I was proud of and ended up on pole position.
I had new tires on for the race that helped a lot with grip because all weekend we had used tires that did not help. I got a good start and was 1st into the first corner but not for long. Then for the rest of the race I stayed behind Rob (Guiver) to see were he was good and weak. With a few laps to go I thought I could go and pull a gap to keep Rob behind. I was a little in front until I came upon the backmarkers that may not have seen the blue flag being shown. Never mind because 2nd is pretty good and was proud of my result.
