Austin did not go according to plan for several reasons. Firstly, I found it a real difficult track, 20 turns to learn and I just couldn't get to grips with it. Also I found it difficult switching back to the KTM Moto3 after riding my Honda 125 at BSB the previous week.
In the second race got a good start was in 15th on the first lap when the race was red flagged when Yui went down really hard. Good news is that she is going to be OK.
The restart was not too good and ended 20th, so disappointed. It was up to Darren Binder to carry the SA flag and come in 5th place - what a good start to the season.
Loved Texas love the people.
I am going to put this one behind me and move on, hopefully to better results. Well done to Bradley Ray for taking a win and Taz for getting in the lead.
See you all Jerez,
