This has been a real challenging time for me, I just couldn’t get my head around this new circuit during practice and qualifying. I had front end chatter which made riding the bike real difficult so I had a really poor starting position which was 20th on the grid, what a disappointment.
I thought I would do my best and get a good start and cut through the field as well as I could on the first couple of laps but things went from bad to worse. The bike stalled on the grid, I had to push the bike off to pit lane and the mechanics got it going again and I had to start from pit lane.
At the end of the race I finished 20th. Good news is that our ace rider coach Danny figured out what was causing the chatter. At the end of the day I felt a lot more confident and hopefully things will go a lot better tomorrow.
