Well I can’t believe its here – testing this weekend and then into the racing season.
I have been waiting for Red Bull all my life.
Got to ride my BSB GP bike at Donington Park last week. Was the first time I had been on a bike since the last BSB race in October last year. My team are having to make adjustments to the handlebars and footpegs as I have increased in height dramatically since last year but I am still as skinny as ever. Not a bad first outing, got almost down to race pace by the afternoon.
Been training hard to get my fitness levels to the peak, huge amount of roadwork with my bicycle. Rode over 70 miles last weekend.
Its real difficult to explain how I feel right now, very mixed emotions. From very excited and confident to very apprehensive and worried. I never seem to really settle down until I am on the grid and we are off.
A great big thanks to all at Red Bull for this opportunity and I wish my fellow competitors well. I am sure we will all have a good time with lots of good racing that will help us to become better riders and further our careers.
Look forward to seeing everyone at Estoril
Bye for now
