Blog | Flo fast but unlucky

Hey Guys,

A week ago I was at the Spanish Championship in Jerez. We arrived at Jerez on Thursday and it was really nice weather. On Friday in the first practice it was good weather and I needed just a little time to get my good feeling back. The second practice was better and I could go faster.

It rained on Saturday morning a little bit. I went out, but my bike broke and I had only 5 or 6 laps. I was only was 34th. Than the conditions in the second qualifying were worse than in the first, but I went faster than in the first. So I was only 28th.

The weather conditions on Sunday was rain and I rode a good warm up.

The race was wet and I had a good feeling. My start was really good and I got to the 18th position after 3 corners. In the same corner, where I broke my finger in Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, someone had a highsider in front of me and I must go off the track and fall. Then I was last, more than a half minute behind the next. I ran really good lap times like the top ten and I passed a lot of riders. After the race I was not really happy with the 18th position, but I know, that if I hadn't had problems I cpould run in the top ten.

See you in Estoril and have a nice Christmas Time.
