Blog | The first from Noah Dettwiler - winter training begins

Hello everybody,

On October 20, 21 I had my last race of the 2018 season in Jerez. After some technical problems I was able to qualify in 15th place on the grid for Sunday's race. As I am usually a good starter, I knew that it is possible in the race to overtake some other riders.

At the start, the gear did not want to go in. So I start from the last position. During the race I managed to overtake some other riders. I finished the race 13th. It was not my best race, but I was happy to take some points after a bad start.

It was a great 2018 season with my PreMoto3. I learned a lot and gained a lot of experience. For me a good way to start road racing.

I can't wait and I'm really looking forward to the 2019 season and the first tests with the Red Bull Rookies Cup. I will work harder and harder to improve myself.

The winter is here now in Switzerland, I have not many opportunities to train with the bike. If the temperatures permit, I can train in France with my Pitbike.

Every Monday, I have the opportunity to train in a Kart hall with my Pitbike. On the weekend, I mostly go to Italy with my parents for motocross training. On this motocross track it is good to train in the winter, because the ground doesn't freeze, it is sand.

I prepare myself mentally and physically. To stay fit I train regularly in the fitness centre, on my mountain bike, on my road bicycle and I go swimming in the indoor pool.

On 24 and 25thof November, I will take part at the European Talent Cup in Circuit Ricardo Tormo (Valencia) as a wild card. I'm really excited about this opportunity. I never have ridden this bike. I will travel to Valencia on the sixth of November for tests. I would like to thank the Team 3570 MTA for giving me this opportunity.

See you soon and best regards,
