Blog | David Salvador with good feelings from the Montmeló CEV round

Hi everyone,

I was looking forward to visit one of my favourite circuits, Montmeló. During the free practices we developed a good work, achieving a perfect setting for the bike and working on getting a high pace for the race.

QP2:P8
Combined Qualifying sessions: P22

We couldn't get the lap we wanted to, but we knew we were having good rhythm to fight for the top positions in both races.

Race 1: P6

I ended the race very happy because I could run the strategy that I had in mind. I made a great start and a good first laps and that allowed me to be in the front group. After many overtakes I achieved a P6 so this is one of my best result in the Junior World Championship of Moto3.

Race 2: DNF

I suffered a technical problem on the first lap (my chain came off).

In spite of this I left Montmeló with confidence and good feelings because we worked very hard and we solved some problems.

Now I'm focused in Assen's race of the Red Bull Rookies Cup where I will visit a new circuit for me for the very first time.

I want to thank my sponsors, my team, my family and all the people to support me race after race.

Thanks for the reading.

See you all in Assen!
