As the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup has come to its end I'm ready to talk about the other championship I'm competing in this season, the Moto3 World Junior Championship of the FIM CEV Repsol.
As most of you may know I won the last Rookies Cup race and that gave me wings to fly to the Moto3 Junior World Championship.
I had really good feeling with the Circuito de Jerez Ángel Nieto. My bike was ready and we worked on the setting and also with my race pace. I finished the practice days very confident because we focused on the weak points we had in the previous races.
I couldn't make a good lap but anyway we worked well on the bike therefore we were all expecting a good performance in the races.
Race 1: P7
In the first race I overtook some riders in the start so I could reach the front group. By the end of the race I stepped ahead to the 6th position crossing the checkered flag. But I made a mistake in the last lap leaving to the Green zone so I got a one position penalty.
Race 2: P7
Another good result for me even more if we consider how the races developed. The top riders stayed on the bike during the whole race. So I'm happy to know that I'm capable of being with them following them and overtaking them. That showed me that I can be in the front group so it's really important for me.
We have improved a lot during last weeks. The Red bull Rookies Cup has helped me to get confidence and I have been able to move that to the Moto3 World Junior Championship where I'm ready to give all that I have inside to reach a good result again.
Let's see how I perform in Albacete's race this weekend!
Thanks for reading me!
