Brno round 9 was not such a bad weekend for me.
It started off not too great in Free Practice 1 but I used the session to learn the wide track of Brno and to get a feeling for my bike since I had not ridden my KTM moto3 for quite a while.
In Free Practice 2 I got into a group and had a much better rhythm. But unfortunately in Qualifying, when I got the new tires I had no set-up for them. I did not qualify where I would like to have but that did not set me back.
We made some changes for the race and I got off to a good start and into a battle for 11th position with another rider and chased the second group which was from 6th to 10th. Unfortunately we caught them on the last lap which was too late. I finished 12th.
Thanks to my mechanic Francisco and Santi for all their help throughout the weekend.
I’m excited for Silverstone and can’t wait.
