Now I'm in Germany on my way to Sachsenring circuit for the next Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup round and I will tell you how was last weekend at Assen:
The first thing that I noticed when my father and I arrived to Holland was the flatness of the land and the calmness and that it must be a good place to live.
On Thursday we arrived at the circuit and we did a track walk, another new track for me.
On Friday we had two Free Practices and one Qualifying Practice in which I got a 19th position. It's taking me time to find the way to make me feel confidence with the KTM but little by little and with the help of the mechanics and all the Red Bull staff I'm on the way to find a good setting.
On Saturday we had one race where I got a 14th position. I got my first points for the championship!
On Sunday, in the second race, I got a 14th position again, but with some changes with the bike I felt more confidence. So I left Assen with positive feelings and 4 points.
Monday we said goodbye to Holland heading to Germany. We went to Heilbronn where my father has an aunt and cousins and I met them and some of my second cousins. two of them are going to Sachsenring to see the race, so I'm very glad.
I'm happy to have German family; It's nice having family in different countries around the world!!
This experience of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup is being so good for me!! Learning to be a better rider, learning languages, knowing new countries and cultures, meeting relatives...
Thanks to Red Bull!
Well, let's see what awaits for us in Sachsenring. I'll tell you soon.
