Hi Everyone,

The weekend went really good, it was my first race meet for the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.

Practise 1. was wet and windy but was a good session to get a feel for the track and the bike and I ended up 7th.

Qualifying 1. was in better conditions than practise but through some of the corners we still had damp patches, that didn't effect me, I ended up quickest by 7 tenths.

Qualifying 2. the track was starting to dry and I was still quickest on track but in the last few minutes of qualifying 2 Ramerez got pole buy 1 thousandth of a second :(

Race 1. I started on the first row of the grid in 2nd place and ended up 3rd in the first corner. There were 6 of us battling for the lead so I thought I would try and get away at the front to brake the tow. I gaped them by a second but crashed at corner 11 due to the wind getting under my front tyre.

Race 2. was good, the conditions were dry, just a little windy. I was 3rd into the first corner which was OK. There were 14 of us battling for the lead and on the 9th lap Espana came up the inside into turn 6 and nearly took me out. I jumped his bike but managed to stay on. I dropped back from the leading group of 5 and was 2 seconds off them but I kept chipping away and I caught them up to finish 5th .

Roll on Estoril,
