The weekend was good and bad for me.
FP1 we all had to run in our new engines so I took it steady at the start then put some laps in at the end and ended up 8th.
FP2 went out and put some laps in to get used to the track again and I found some issues with the setup so I came into the pits and we changed something but still the same issues so I was going to try the spare bike for QP1.
QP1 now I am on the spare bike and the bike felt really good but was just running wide in corners, I went 2 seconds quicker in QP1 than I did in FP2 , I ended up 10th on the grid for the race.
Race 1 the suspension guys changed something for the race to stop the bike running wide and it really worked. The bike was handling well and no chatter event at such just a bumpy track. I was just loosing a bit of top speed on the other riders down the straights.
Next race is Silverstone, my home track so will try my best to get a good result for the British fans
See you soon,
