Blog | Brad contesting the CEV Spanish Championship at Jerez

Hello everyone,

Just finished the first round of the CEV Spanish championship at Jerez.

It was a very tough weekend for me as It was a new team and not much testing on the bike.

FP1 and FP2 went okay, got down to some good time, and was consistent, also was working on the bike setup ready for QP1

Qualifying didn't go as planned for us, we had a few mechanical issues which means I lost most of QP2, I started 21st in the grid which was not Ideal but with the problems we had it was okay.

Race1: Also we had another mechanical issue on the grid which caused the bike to stop on the line just before the lights went out! Was very scary.

Race2: We got the bike sorted and it was a good race! Kept chipping away and finished the race in 13th so I'm pretty happy with that considering the problems we have had during the weekend.

Can't wait until the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup starts in just over a weeks time! I'm ready!

See you soon!
