Hi everybody,
Many things happened since the last time! First of all, I went to Valencia for the second round of the CEV. After difficult qualifying, where I could not do better than the 19th time, I still managed to finish the two races in 9th and 7th place, less than a second behind the podium. It was not perfect but I was satisfied to have been able to overtake.
In the championship standings, I'm only 4 points behind the leader and we have a lot of races to do so I'm confident.
After the race, I came back to Belgium for our traditional Zelos Fan Day with other Belgian riders you may know as Xavier Siméon and Livio Loi.

The atmosphere was great and many people came to show us their support and participate to the signing session.
I also made some laps on the track in order to keep training.
The day after, I flew to Jerez for the first round of the MotoGP Red Bull Rookies Cup. I was so excited and I immediately felt comfortable on the bike. I took the second fastest time in qualifying.
The first race on Saturday went well. We were fighting at 3 and it was hard to say who would win.
I finished 3rd on the podium with big points.
Sunday, I wanted to make a better result and take the win but we three were fighting again.

I took the first place on the last 3 laps but at the end of the last straight, around 200km/h, I shift and get out of the bend but I didn't see Tatay that was overflowing me at this time on the left.
You know the rest of the story... I found myself stuck between the wall and the bike. I had pain all over my body but fortunately I'm fine thanks to my airbag. Thank you all for sending me recovery messages!
This experience will teach me to stay 120% focused until the checkered flag.
See you in Mugello in great shape!
