Blog | Anthony has moved to Spain

Hi everybody, it’s me, Anthony. I have some great news to share with you, I have moved to Spain.

Yes, you read that right, my family and I moved to Spain this week. Traveling has been very tough on me and my Dad. We live (or should I say lived) in California and every race weekend was a huge deal for us.

Most trips took between 20 to 30 hours and that’s not counting the time to get to the track. Even though my dad did most of the driving (ok, all of the driving since I’m only 15 years old), when we show up to the tracks I am dead tired. Also, traveling to Europe is very expensive. My dad never really discusses costs with me, but I know it’s a lot of money.

Because the traveling is so expensive and tiring, I have not been on my practice bike since the beginning of this year. I used to go practice every weekend, and now, the only time I get on a bike is at the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup races. Don’t get me wrong, I love being on the KTM 250cc Moto3 bikes, but I also need to practice in between the races. I miss my practice bike.

Anyway, I’m here now. Brno is in a few weeks. My dad has already arranged traveling and I have been watching lots of racing from there. I can’t wait to get on the track.

Talk to you all soon.
