Blog | Alexandre Juanes learning at mythical Misano

Hello all,

Here I am on the Misano Adriatico Circuit...MotoGP lap record 1'32''146 by Jorge Lorenzo in 2015...Valentino Rossi's victory is still engraved in all memories...

On a personal point of view, this is also the track on which we said goodbye to Shoya Tomisawa, a rider who was a neighbour, living in Alès, who used to race for the CIP Moto. This represents a highly emotional race for the young racer that I am.

70 000 spectators... 299,5km/h max speed ...a crazy and fast track ...which bears the particularity to be counter clock wise to raise up the challenge and the riding level.

Here I am, discovering a brand new mythic Italian track...

New track, new lessons to learn.

Despite a disappointing final result, the positive element is that I manage to improve myself at each lap, from free practice in a fast pace, to the race I keep improving my own pace, which places me at 2s from the lead.

During the race, I took a good start and manage to gain some positions during the first lap, before loosing the group ahead.

I hit the finish line in last position, disappointed of course, leader riders have a fantastic level, they are examples for us and I try on each race to learn from their performances so that next season the season represents not only a learning path but also to be able to fight with them on track. I have to remain focused, hard work on my riding phases to improve. Anyway, even in the racing boots of the little french rookie whose results don't reflect the capacities...know that this is a lifetime experience !

The ultimate race will take place in Aragon, one of the only tracks I know. I hope i'll be able to honour the chance I was given by the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.

I would like to thank all the partners who bring me their support for this adventure: Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, MotoGP, KTM Factory Racing, Alpinestars, Ipone, Schuberth Helmets, GoPro, Earwear, all my french partners as well as Ride-R Media agence de communication.

Despite all the things you have to face in life, never stop spreading your wings!
