Blog | Alex Escrig with pace but not perfection in Mugello

Hi everyone,

In general the weekend of Mugello was positive, as we improved in several aspects and solved problems that we had in Jerez, but it was not perfect because we committed other errors, which we are working so as not to repeat them again in Assen.

On Thursday we had the circuit walk as usual and the truth is that it impressed me as much as I liked it, and it gave me the disire to ride it on Friday.

On Friday in the FP1 I had a fall in the first laps which hurt me a bit but I had started with very good feelings. In FP2 it was difficult for me to pick up the pace again but we took a little step but we still needed a little bit to be there again. In the QP we finished 6 after having a good feeling and sorting out some details.

On Saturday in the race I started well, comfortable, with pace, but I forced the tires too much which made me unable to ride as I liked and I had to suffer a bit, finally finishing in P12.

Now we are working very hard to take another step in Assen and continue learning and improving.

See you there,
