Blog | Alex Escrig finding pace in the Jerez races

Hi guys,

After weeks, and with more tranquility, I can write and tell you how my weekend was at the Jerez Grand Prix, also my first race.

We arrived quite motivated and quiet, and Friday was a day in general a bit complicated because it seemed that we were on the right track but we really lacked a little step.

We did not know where it was and we were a bit far from the front positions, we were working on the ride and on the bike but we could not find that small step to be there. At the end of the day in QP we finished 17th it was not a position I thought I was but good to face it and tackle in the races.

For Race 1 we changed the bike a bit and the truth was that it went well up to P12 but we still did not find ourselves nice and thin so we could go fast but we knew we were close.

In Race 2 we started a bit bad, losing positions but I found myself super comfortable and I was able to overcome until reaching the second race group and get a P9.

Now to continue working and progressing for Mugello.

Gas 11,
