Blog | Xavier Artigas training on anything with two wheels and having a blast

Xavier Artigas

Hello everyone,

Since the last race of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, I participated as a training in some races. The majority of races are the last of the championships, the riders arrive strong at the end of the season and I think it's a good training because I have to make an effort to be at their level.

I have participated in races of different modalities in Speed, Dirt Track, Flat Track and Enduro.

In speed I participate in the last race of the European Talent Cup in the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. It was the first time I was riding themHonda Moto3, it's a little different from the KTM of the Red Bull Rookies Cup. I adapted quickly to the bike, I had a great time and I went back to coincide with riders who had long since rolled with them and also got to ride fast in the race.

In Dirt Track races I had already participated more times and in different categories. This time I ran in the Open category and won the race. I have also been able to train with the riders who are preparing for the Superprestigio Dirt Track race at the Palau St. Jordi in Barcelona.

In Flat Track I had also run but in small displacements. It's a modality in which I have a lot of fun. It was my first time in the Elite category. I reached the Superfinal and when I was third and trying to overtake the second one I fell.

It was a great experience and I shared track with high level riders who participate even in the Flat Track World Championship and who will participate in the DTX Superprestigio at the Palau St. Jordi in Barcelona.

I also participated in a 2 hour Enduro endurance race. New experience also for me. I had a great time and I'm sure I'll repeat in some other race of this type.

I also continue training what I can in MX and with Bicycle MTB and BMX, now with the cold it's difficult to train on the asphalt, and also take the opportunity to rest a little this Christmas with my family.

Merry Christmas to all !!!
