With a great deal of minimoto success and a flamboyant character Kevin should make a great road racer. His first 2 years in the Rookies Cup were therefore a frustration and he knows that only by digging deep and applying himself to the task with concentration and hard work will he achieve the rewards that his talents offer. Only then can he follow his hero Loris Capirossi, one of the truly great most talented and hard working riders of the last decade. He wants to move into the 125 GP class and knows that that will require Rookie success. Off the bike he enjoys maths at school plus training at the gym, swimming and cycling.
"For sure it is going to be a great season this year, so many fast riders. I guess that Daijiro and Sturla are the favourites but it could be almost anyone. Myself, I am looking forward to Brno, that is my favourite track. I want to get into Grand Prix, of course I watch those guys, Stoner is great and I liked watching Kallio on his 250."
